Cynthia Lynn Obituary, Death – The passing of Cynthia Ann Moore Lynn on February 16, 2024, at the age of 65, has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends. Her life, marked by love, resilience, and cherished moments, is celebrated and remembered with fondness.

A Lifelong Resident of Brilliant

Cynthia, born on April 8, 1958, in Winfield, Alabama, was a lifelong resident of Brilliant. Growing up in the community, she attended school, and as an adult, she contributed to her community by working various jobs before facing health challenges that led to her disability. In her spare time, Cynthia found joy in spending time with her family and friends. Her warmth and kindness endeared her to those around her, creating a network of connections that enriched her life.

Cherished by Her Children and Grandchildren

Left to cherish her memory are Cynthia’s children: Summer Lynn (Jason Snider), Ashley Chandler (Randall Martin), and Chad Lynn. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Austin Lynn, Colton Brock, Isaiah Sanford, Zackery Brock, Adalian Brock, Landon Chandler, Randall Chandler, Chloe Lynn, Braden Lynn, and Cammie Lynn. Additionally, her great-grandchildren Matthew, Bella, and Niklaus Brock, Elijah, Levi, and Cassie Lynn, and Cooper O’Mary were a source of joy in her life. Cynthia’s brother, Steve Moore, and sister-in-law Melissa, stood by her side, providing support and love. A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members further enriched her life, creating a sense of belonging and connection.

Remembering Those who Passed Before

While celebrating Cynthia’s life, it’s important to honor the memory of those who preceded her in death. Her brother Ricky Moore and special aunt, Elma Scriviner, were part of her life’s journey and hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved Cynthia.

Funeral Services and Burial

Funeral services to commemorate Cynthia’s life will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the Griggs Place Cemetery. The visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins, providing an opportunity for friends and family to gather, share memories, and find solace in each other’s company.
